Edgar has been an enthusiastic TreePeople supporter and board member since 2006. His 35-year professional career has been centered in the drinking water industry at the engineering, operations, regulatory and policy levels. Employers include the State of California’s Office of Drinking Water, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and most recently with HDR Engineering, Inc. where he serves as a Senior Project Managers in their Los Angeles Office.

Edgar is a lifelong resident of the City of Los Angeles where he attended Loyola High School prior to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Long Beach State University. In his spare time, he enjoys numerous outdoor activities, hobbies, and other pursuits and is also active in the American Water Works Association, the Urban Water Institute, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Association of California Water Agencies where he also serves on their board of Directors.
