Mindy Mann

Mindy received her MBA from UCLA in 1984 and went on to create and run her own successful gift basket business for over 10 years. After selling her business, Mindy became involved in community work; she was a docent at Franklin Canyon and has been an advocate for protecting trees ever since. She is a past president of the Benedict Canyon Association, and editor of its newsletter. Mindy is a representative to the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council where she chairs the Ad-Hoc.

Environmental Committee and serves as representative to the LA Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance. Last year Council District 5 appointed Mindy as the alternate Community Forest Advisory Committee representative.

Mindy also sits on the board of The American Friends of the Hebrew University as well as UC Berkeley’s Diller Institute. Mindy is especially proud to be a part of the TreePeople organization.
