Laura Schuman is President of the Schuman Family Foundation, a public non-profit corporation. Her work is guided by the belief that we can inspire people by nurturing what inspires them, in order to engage humanity in creating a harmonious collective future. She is CEO and Board Chair of Agro Farming Corporation, a wine grape growing operation in the Central Valley; Managing Member of Edison Highway Ranch, currently transitioning an orange grove operation into a regenerative farming enterprise in California; Board Secretary and Director of the Meyer Schuman Company, a 90-year-old investment corporation; the Managing Member of 18-20 Milpas Investors, a commercial property venture; an Advisory Board member of the UCLA Health Board Systems; a founding member of UCLA’s Mobile Stroke Unit Council of Advocates, and a member of the Center for a Humane Economy’s Global Council for Animals. Laura has written and produced award-winning films, inspired by themes of human connection and environmental advocacy. She is also a two-time Louie Award winning copywriter with over a hundred captions licensed to Microsoft, American Greetings, and UNICEF.
