With worldwide box office hits such as Airplane!, Ruthless People, The Naked Guns, Phone Booth, A Walk In the Clouds, and the record-breaking Scary Movie 3 and 4, all to his credit, director/writer/producer David Zucker has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most successful filmmakers. Growing up in Wisconsin, David has experienced the lush tree canopy that began his love of all things arbor. When he met Andy Lipkis in 1988, they formed an instant bond and soon after, David joined TreePeople, eventually becoming the longest continuously serving board member in the organization’s history. During this time, David acquired a 20 acre ranch in Ojai which he transformed into a thriving forest. The ranch became the site of bi annual TreePeople Board retreat, and there, in the mid 90’s Andy conceived the T.R.E.E.S project, which became the cornerstone of the TreePeople philosophy.
